What the Free Scan Gives You
Skin Type Indicators
A possible tendency is suggested only when there is enough visual evidence. Uncertain is a valid result; a photo does not measure your skin's oil or water content.
Visible Surface Signs
The report can describe visible shine, texture, redness and uneven-looking tone, including what is not reliably visible in your photo.
How the Result Is Written
Plain-language observations and gentle routine direction, without appearance scores, medical diagnoses or payment for the free summary. An optional complete report adds care directions using the same observations.
How Retakes Work
Three successful analyses per browser each day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. A signed browser cookie identifies the allowance without an account.

What Happens When You Hit the Limit
Come back after 00:00 UTC. There is no paid bypass. Failed or unsuitable images do not use a successful allowance, but a separate limit allows at most ten attempts per day.
Why a Daily Limit
One clear photo is usually enough. Retakes help when a different, clearer photo is needed. A recent matching photo and budget can reuse the same written result without another analysis. The questionnaire does not use your scan allowance.
What the Free Scan Can't Tell You
The report does not diagnose conditions, identify people or rate looks. A single photo does not establish sensitivity or measure clinical indicators. We do not publish an accuracy percentage.
How to Take a Photo That Scans Well
Light and Angle
Choose even natural light and look straight toward the camera. Strong shadows can hide or exaggerate visible texture.
No Filter, No Heavy Makeup
Filters and makeup can change how texture and tone appear. A clear unfiltered photo is a more useful starting point.
Common Photo Mistakes
Avoid blur, dark rooms, several faces and screenshots that have been heavily compressed.
Availability: What's Live Right Now
AI photo analysis and the photo-free questionnaire are separate tools. Both work without an account; the questionnaire sends no photo to an AI provider.

Selecting a photo only previews it. After you agree and click Analyze, your photo is sent for AI analysis, including processing by external service providers. FaceScanner does not save your photo. External providers may retain submitted data under their own policies. Written results are available through a private link: up to 24 hours before checkout, up to 30 days while payment is being confirmed, and 30 days from payment confirmation for purchased reports. Expired report text is cleared periodically; transaction references and payment states are kept separately for support. Keep your private link; FaceScanner does not send report emails.

Do I need a card for the free tools?
No card or purchase is required for the photo summary or questionnaire. An optional complete report costs $9.90 once and is available after your free scan. No subscription or automatic renewal.
How many free scans can I use?
Three successful analyses per browser each day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. There is also a limit of ten attempts per day and one running analysis per browser at a time.
Does the daily limit apply to the questionnaire?
No. You can revisit the questions and change your answers. The planned limit is for photo analysis, not the questionnaire.
Can I get a result without taking a photo?
Yes. The questionnaire provides a self-assessed skin type tendency and simple routine direction from seven answers.
Will I be asked to pay to see my questionnaire result?
No. The complete questionnaire result appears on the page without payment or an email address.
What happens if I leave the page?
FaceScanner does not save your photo. Written results are saved temporarily behind a private link for returning to a result and optional paid access. Keep your link; we do not send report emails. A browser cookie keeps track of the daily allowance. See the photo and data section for retention periods.
Can this rate my looks or estimate my age?
No. Those are outside the product's scope. The available questionnaire focuses on how your skin behaves and a basic routine direction.
