Who operates FaceScanner

The operator and contact details for this website are listed at the end of this page. FaceScanner provides AI observations of visible cosmetic appearance and a separate skin type questionnaire.

Choosing a photo

You can select a JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or HEIF photo up to 50 MB. Selection prepares a local preview. Some formats are converted in your browser so they can be displayed. Selecting a file does not send it for AI analysis.

After you agree and click Analyze, a prepared copy of your photo is sent through our service to an external AI provider. We use it to produce the observations and general routine direction you requested.

Photo and report retention

FaceScanner processes submitted photos in memory and does not save the photo or create a public image link. An encrypted written result is accessible for up to 24 hours before checkout. A recent result may be reused for the same browser and budget for two hours without another analysis. Creating checkout extends result availability for up to 30 days so delayed payment confirmation can be handled.

After payment is confirmed, the purchased written report is available through its private link for 30 days from that confirmation. Save the text copy during that time. A full refund revokes access. Expired report text is removed by periodic cleanup. Order references, payment and refund states, amounts and necessary dates are kept separately for support and reconciliation; report expiry does not automatically delete these transaction records. Private links contain an access credential in the URL fragment; we do not make a public report directory or automatically email the link. Anyone you share the link with can access the report.

External AI providers process the submitted photo and request under their own data policies. They may retain request data. FaceScanner does not promise immediate deletion by those providers.

Payment information

Our payment provider processes checkout and payment details. FaceScanner stores the report reference, checkout and payment references, payment state and access dates needed for delivery and refund handling. We do not store card numbers. Payment providers may collect contact details and retain transaction records under their own policies and obligations.

Questionnaire answers

The seven-question skin type quiz works without a photo. Its answers and result are worked out in your browser and held in the current tab. They are not submitted to the photo analysis service or saved as a questionnaire history. You can use Copy result to keep a copy yourself.

Optional analytics — your choice

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are optional. They are not loaded until you choose Accept analytics. Reject analytics leaves the tools available. We save this choice in your browser so you do not need to answer on every page. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may only apply to the current page.

After permission, Google Analytics counts visits to our public tool, pricing and policy pages using a public page address and page name. We do not send the referring address, photos, file names, questionnaire answers, skin observations, private reports, report access codes or payment information as analytics events. We disable advertising personalization and automatic form, search, outbound-link and browser-history measurement. Pages whose addresses contain a query string or fragment are excluded.

Microsoft Clarity records page interactions only on Pricing, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Refund Policy. It is not loaded on the face scanner, free face scan, skin type quiz or private report pages, including tools that show results within the page. We use strict text masking on the static pages. These recordings can include layout, navigation and interaction information. Masking does not make a recording anonymous in every circumstance.

The providers may process connection and browser information, use analytics cookies, and process data outside your country under their own privacy policies. Their retention settings and policies govern information already collected; we do not promise immediate deletion of provider data when you change your choice.

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting stops the active analytics scripts, removes the analytics cookies accessible to this site, and reloads the page. It does not remove necessary allowance or security cookies. You can also clear site data through your browser. Contact us for requests about information already collected.

Browser allowance and security

A browser cookie identifies your anonymous daily photo allowance without an account. It can remain for up to 30 days. The allowance service keeps anonymous counts and short-lived information about an analysis in progress. Allowance records do not include your photo or report. Written reports are stored separately with access controls.

Photo analysis allows three successful analyses and up to ten attempts per browser per UTC day, with one analysis running at a time. Security verification and hosting providers may process connection, browser and verification information to operate the service and prevent abuse. We also use necessary service information, such as request timing and whether an analysis completed, to investigate errors.

You can clear cookies in your browser settings. Without the allowance cookie, photo analysis cannot start. The questionnaire remains available.

Support and sharing

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include. Please avoid sending a photo or other sensitive information unless it is needed for your request.

We share information with external analysis, hosting, security and allowance service providers only as needed to deliver the service. FaceScanner does not sell your photos or reports.

Your choices and requests

You can remove a selected photo before analysis, cancel a request, use the questionnaire instead, or close the page. Canceling stops the local request, but an external provider may already have started processing it.

Contact us with privacy questions or requests about information under our control. We cannot restore photos or reports after their retention period ends. Keep your private report link and save a text copy of any purchased report. Any applicable statutory privacy rights remain available to you.

Adults and policy updates

FaceScanner is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Do not submit children's photos. Only upload an image you have the right and permission to use.
